Financial Commitment and Participation

This investment covers the costs of production, publication, and promotional opportunities, ensuring that your story reaches a wide audience through both the documentary and the anthology book. Who can apply?
Black single mothers who live in Georgia who are available to film on November 2 & 3, 2024 who have overcome significant challenges and built a successful life for themselves and their families are encouraged to apply.
What is the application deadline?
The deadline to submit your application is October 8, 2024.
What happens after I submit my story?
Once you submit your story, our team will review your application to ensure it aligns with the themes and vision of the Diary of Successful Black Single Mothers documentary and anthology. If your story is shortlisted, the next step will be to schedule a virtual interview with our producer.
During this interview, the producer will take a deeper dive into your journey, asking you questions to determine if your story is a good fit for the documentary. This is your chance to share additional details, highlight key moments in your experience, and provide visuals like photos or videos that could enhance the documentary.
If the producer determines that your story is right for the project, you will be notified of your selection. At that point, the financial investment for participation will be due. Once payment is received, you will receive detailed instructions on the next steps, including timelines for submitting your 1350-word chapter for the anthology, and how to prepare for the media exposure opportunities that come with being part of this groundbreaking project.

This is the best value option, offering you a significant discount when you make the full investment upfront.Option 2: Payment Plan
You can also opt for a payment plan with 2 payments of $997.50, totaling $1995. While this allows for more flexibility, please note that by choosing the payment plan, the total cost is $400 more than the discounted full payment.
